HOME PHOTO GALLERY LINKS FRIENDS & FAMILY SCHEDULes HAULER AT WORK

We have some more sad news.  Our sweet puppy Angie had to be put to sleep on May 2, 2008.  She was diagnosed with cancer in December of 2007  and fought a brave battle.

The veteranarian said she may only live a month .  Johns futile TLC and determination to keep her alive paid off and she did survive  nearly 5 months.  It has been so hard for him.

More pictures of Angie will soon be posted and once again John wants to write a tribute to her .

Bart (left) and Angie (right)

Bart was a Golden Retreiver-Rotweiller mix that was the constant companion of John. He got him when he was only five minutes (yes, minutes) old, and raised him with an eye dropper and a bottle. The 130 pound pet was his friend as well as guard dog. No one came near the truck when Bart was on duty.

Angelica Marie (Angie) was added to the family in the fall of 2001, when she was six weeks old. She is a Dogue de Bordeaux, part boxer and part 'Hooch' (remember the movie dog?)   Bart wasn't too sure at first about this new 'baby' in his domain, but they got along just great after a few days. This picture was taken when Angie was still a pup, but it is surprising how much they look alike. She is now 65 pounds and has taken over as the guard dog and companion that Bart was.

                                                                                                                    To All My Friends:
Hello to all of you. I hope that you are all doing well.I am very sorry to tell you that on March 8, 2006 at 10:57 AM,
my friend and beloved companion, Bart (my child you could say),was called home like the quiet wind, Mariah. I had him cremated
and his ashes remain with me at all times. He is with the angels in heaven now, where he will not suffer any longer. It took all I had to make the decision that
I did, and am so sorry that I had to do it. I am taking this pretty hard and am trying to be strong for everyone, but I cry when I go to bed where no one sees me.
I will miss him, for I raised him from the first day. There will never be another Bart or anyone to replace him. Angie is my support now. She is an angel sent from heaven to watch over me. Later on this website, a painting will be displayed. My friend, Ross (from Australia) told his wife, Diane, and she has begun to paint a picture.  When she has completed it, it will be on the website for all to see.  Miss all of you....................................John
